This week's blog: Ten Ways to Extend God's Grace

Our Pentecost season in 2010 will be focused on seeking a greater understanding of God's grace which comes to us through Jesus and learning to live out our faith in our everyday endeavors.

The series for the summer is "Grounded in Grace." God's grace to each of us is abundant and life-giving in so many ways. Unfortunately, too often we let things get in the way of receiving God's grace. This series follows Jesus as he is teaching his disciples and followers how to live grace-filled lives.

We will seek to live out grace as we implement our new mission statement: Extend God's grace to all!!!

Interested in nurturing both your spirituality and your creativity? Actually by doing this we become the very people God intended us to be. Make time for God in your life through prayer, meditation, devotions and/or journaling. Let me know if you need help starting.

Special thanks to Karin and Joy Gunderson, mother-daughter musical duo known as Heavenly Harp, who gave a free concert on Monday, August 16 at Glen Cary Lutheran Church in Ham Lake. Karin related inspiring stories from her work as a harpist for hospice. They also played harp duets and sing together.
